MyMD

First of all let me tell you that I am not an MD although my profile name is MyMD. I am a PhD. I have been working as a biomedical research scientist for the past 10 years. During this time I have explored how nature employs subtle and dubious ways to convert this unique machine called human body into an experience of pain and suffering, only to be disposed of as a pack of atoms to mother earth to recycle. Even as I decry this cruel behavior of nature, I am awestruck at its genius in making the human body and letting it perform miraculously on a continuous basis. 

An average human of the 21st century, who lives for 70 or 80 years, never gets to know how nature works inside him/her. He/she rarely even begins to comprehend the miracle of the body. How many molecules? How many genes? How many pathways? How those pathways are integrated to work in a well-coordinated and balanced network? The more one understands the subtle yet incredibly complex, sturdy yet unbelievably nimble and simple yet arcane attributes of the human body, the more he/she will be forced to appreciate it. Once you, you have to appreciate it. No other choice.

I have done research work on cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease. I would like to put my experience and knowledge for better use by publishing scientific articles useful for the public. My focus is on intriguing articles on latest research discoveries, alternative medicine and general health.
